Lisa Lyons Bridal and Lily Lane Photography recently teamed up on this fantastic Woodland Elopement shoot, showing you that sometimes less can be more!
“ Now join hands and with your hands your hearts”
Relaxed, homespun weddings are still high on couples agendas and this shoot ticks all the boxes. A soft pastel colour palette, a rustic woodland backdrop and some chilled bohemian vibes. This shoot was all about showcasing some fabulous local suppliers. Alongside Lily Lane Photography who captures intimate moments effortlessly, who captured the perfect aesthetics for our woodland elopement shoot.
Luckily we had a warm summer afternoon and as the warm sun shone we took the ceremony and tablescape into the woods. The backdrop for the ceremony was created with a rustic wooden arch, adorned with hanging florals and green moss.
I chose my Alver and Freyja dresses, soft and fluid silhouettes with chantilly lace frills and soft georgette. They are timeless, romantic styles! We teamed them with a customized leather jacket from Ophelia Rose for a more modern vibe, which is perfect for a cool summer evening.
Kerry, the Cambridge Make-up Artist gave the model soft, shimmering smokey eye, with barely there soft pink lips. She chose a soft up-do which complimented the dresses, adding a boho vibe to the shoot.
Ellice from Willow and Blossom laid the wooden table from Nikkita Palmer with masses of greenery. Soft pastel accents were created using Proteas, Dahlias. sweet smelling O’hara Roses and Stocks, while Pittosporum and Eucalyptus were highlighted with glimmers of lilac Scabiosa throughout.
We opted for a naked two-tier cake by Sugar Belles, which we used as the table centrepiece, as the intimate table was set just for two.
