With all the months/years of planning, your day will be over before you know it! Everyone knows to book a photographer, but sometimes a videographer can slip your mind! Husband and wife team, Grace and Brad from Keeley Wedding Films, want to make sure this isn’t a mistake you will make. Through beautiful films that capture the emotions of your big day, they create something you will want to watch over and over.
1.Your day will go by in a flash!
I know, I know! Everyone says it, but it is true, and I wish I’d listened! Personally, I was very overwhelmed by emotions and the day just flew by! I’m so grateful to be able to watch our video (see below) back, from the address and readings during the ceremony, to the special moments like my husband saying ‘I definitely do!’ our video captures it all.
“the special moments like my husband saying ‘I definitely do!’ our video captures it all.”
2. You can watch back with your family and friends who couldn’t be there.
Video is definitely the best way to re-live your day with the friends & family who couldn’t be there (and those who could!) We’re yet to have a watch party without some tears! Everyone has their own experience of the day, so watching a video means they get to see things they may have missed and laugh about the moments that didn’t go to plan!

3. It’s a keepsake that will last for generations
You’ll spend months building up to your wedding day – investing in photos and video means you can remember your day forever! Some of my most precious memories with my Gran are going through her wedding photos with her while I was planning my wedding. This will be the film you’ll one day sit down to watch with your kids. Being able to re-live your day again and again is an investment worth making!
4. You can’t get the day back to film it again – don’t be one of the brides who regret not having one!
According to HuffPost (and lots of other sources) the number one regret brides have is not having a videographer. (Honestly, google search ’number 1 regret brides have’!) You could try to recreate these moments but nothing will be your day. It’s worth making the investment now so you don’t regret missing out in the future.

5. Nothing captures the emotions of your day like a video
Photos are amazing – everyone wants beautiful wedding photos to put on their wall, use as their profile pic and send out on their thank you cards. However, there’s nothing like video for capturing your day as it unfolds. A good videographer will tell the story of your day through the laughs, tears and all the emotions. (Don’t worry wedding videos don’t have to be long and boring!) Capturing all the reactions, the laughs, the funky dancing, maybe a few happy tears, and the fun of your day, and editing it together to beautiful music and intertwined with audio recordings of your vows and speeches!
“A good videographer will tell the story of your day through the laughs, tears and all the emotions.”
BONUS: it doesn’t need to be awkward or pose-y, the great thing about video is it always looks best when it’s natural! So you don’t need to spend lots of time posing, all you need to do is enjoy your day and a good videographer will capture that for you so you can remember forever!
