“My biggest tip is for brides is to wear white at your make up trial. It helps to show how the make up off to it’s full potential!”

“If you don’t know what to do for your honeymoon or you both want to do completely different things, don’t worry. Speak to an independent travel agent as they will ask the right questions to find you the perfect honeymoon that you will both love.”

“Don’t get too caught up on tradition if that’s really not your thing – perhaps you don’t want to exchange rings, have a big entrance or have any readings at your wedding then DON’T! A Celebrant will discuss every aspect of the ceremony with you to make sure we include what you love and leave out what you don’t love!”

“Did you know you can incorporate traditions into your wedding cake? For example, if you have a piece of jewellery that has been given to you, it can feature on the cake as your ‘something old’ by being sewn onto ribbon for example.”

“If you’re still feeling nervous about your 2021 wedding date and want to wait to send out invitations, don’t delay getting in touch with your stationer, we get booked up fast! Most stationers are offering couples the option to pay the deposit for design work and then wait to go to print until you’re more confident your day will go ahead.”

“My top tip is to reuse your florals where you can for maximum impact for your budget, eg move your ceremony table arrangement to your top table, ask your florist to provide vases in which to display the bridal party bouquets in areas such as the bar or guest book table or for micro weddings they could even be used as table centres, perhaps then allowing you to splash out on a larger installation which could be used as a backdrop for your cake or for photographs creating that real “wow” element.”

“LET THERE BE LIGHT! When getting ready on your wedding day, pick a room that has lots of natural light e.g. a big window or a balcony. Not only is it easier for the make-up artist to see what she’s doing but soft light is kinder to the skin hiding any small imperfections. You’ll look fabulous in all your getting ready pictures. #winning”
