The recent government announcement reducing the number of wedding guests to 15 has been another blow for the industry which has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. According to a recent survey by Hitched, 71% of couples that planned to marry between September 2020 and January 2021 are now shifting their dates back. Working with her couples to rearrange their big day, Constance Taylor, owner of Mrs T Weddings spotted an opportunity to help those desperate to get married in the months ahead.Sweet 15_Planning your wedding_Lee Allison PhotographySweet 15_Planning your wedding_Lee Allison Photography‘Lots of couples are fed up of waiting any longer and desperately want to get married in 2020 and early 2021. When I’ve been meeting and talking to them, they’ve told me their frustrations, feeling their lives are on hold while they wait for restrictions to lift. Equally, there are thousands of venues and suppliers up and down the country who are losing business and income,’ says Taylor, ‘I came up with ‘Sweet 15’ as a way for couples to get married safely and affordably, and to keep numerous businesses afloat during this difficult time.’Sweet 15_Planning your wedding_Lee Allison PhotographySweet 15_Planning your wedding_Lee Allison PhotographyUnder her Sweet 15 initiative, Mrs T Weddings will plan a complete wedding scaled to 15 attendees for a total of £15,000.
