On a crisp January day, a talented group of wedding professionals came together to create a beautiful boho luxe photoshoot with a white and silver colour scheme. The decor included magnificent blossom trees, a marbled white and grey cake and an elegant tablescape with a sequinned runner and silver candelabras.

The Inspiration
The inspiration for this shoot came from the time of year… those crisp winter days, with frost on the ground and early sunsets. The cool white and silver of the colour scheme contrasted beautifully with the rustic beams of the Barns at Redcoats, and the white and silver table runners looked flawless against the dark wood of the tables.

The Venue
The Barns at Redcoats is a beautifully restored 18th Century barn, with quirky details such as the paintings you can see in the photos. It absolutely befits the boho luxe feel of this shoot, and looks simply stunning in the photos.

The Styling
In order to create the luxe look I desired, it was important to build layers in order to give a full, but elegant feeling to the table. The runners by Stardust Events pooled gracefully off the ends of the table, with the napkins on each place setting reflecting this in the way they draped off the tables towards the chairs.

I wanted to create layered heights to the tablescape, so paired a low level beautiful floral arrangement amid two elegant candelabras rising up above. The entire table was then framed by blossom trees from Stardust Events, giving a full and lush feel to the decor.

The Stationery
The beautiful vellum menus by Tracey of Tiggity Boo with silver tassels were framed by the individual tulips adorning the plates, a simple but effective touch. She also created these clever place-cards, hanging elegantly from the glasses. The elegant invitation suite that Tracey created was perfect for any boho luxe wedding, with a lace detailed envelope calling back to the lace in the dress, and silver edging fitting perfectly with the table.

The Hair and Makeup
Nicola created a beautiful fishtail braid, adorned with super luxe hair accessories and earrings from Rachel Sokhal Bridal Accessories, which was all completed by a subtle but stunning silver eye makeup look by Michelle. Toni from Glamavan added some sparkle to the look towards the end of the shoot, with her eco-friendly, biodegradable glitter applied to Elle-E’s cheekbones and collarbones.

The Flowers
The floral design by The Flower Boutique was wild and opulent, with white tulips, ranunculus, hellebore and avalanche roses, amid beautiful foliage of eucalyptus and senecio.

Shelley from La Belle Cake Company created a stunning four-tiered marbled cake, with a long, simple grey bow tied around the second tier finishing it off perfectly.
