WHY DID YOU START YOUR WEDDING BUSINESS?

I love telling a story and thought why not tell a love story? I went to a wedding with another photographer as an assistant and instantly fell in love with it there and then!

WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING IN WEDDINGS?

It is so much fun to be a part of a wedding, you get to meet the couple before and build a connection and see the nerves on the day then see the excitement and the we did it moments. The parent’s proud moments, sad moments but the it is over moments too.

WHAT KIND OF COUPLE DO YOU LOVE TO WORK WITH?

I like working with couples that have a good sense of humour and can have fun, adventure and still be themselves at the same time.

WHY SHOULD SOMEONE BOOK YOU FOR THEIR WEDDING DAY?

Together we can create a story of a lifetime, with all the moments, details and FUN that makes two unique characters in one. I will help you in every way on the day, I will be quick so that you can get your images out the way for groups shots, and I will take you away for time to yourselves when you just need a minute but then we get the most important shots while we are out. I will get all the natural shots while you just enjoy your day. I blend in so you don’t feel like I’m in your face all the time, I’ll leave that to all the selfie lovers.

WHAT QUESTION DO YOU GET ASKED ALL THE TIME BY COUPLES AND WHAT’S THE ANSWER TO IT?

Price – I spend alot of my time editing to ensure your images are magical and on the day I am not in a rush so I will take into consideration the best bits to get portraits and magical moments. I will be there from start to end and a bit more, not only am I there to take photos, I end up helping in many ways than one. I take into consideration travel time and hours of snapping all day, you get to learn the physical impact which benefits from a full day of workout. Not only this but I have trained and continue to train and develop myself for my couples because I was always taught you pay for what your get.

WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER ONE PIECE OF WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE?

Baby powder – Yes it helps reduce sweaty patches and helps you reduce sticky feet in your shoes that cause blisters!

DO YOU HAVE A DREAM WEDDING VENUE, LOCATION OR WEDDING THEME THAT YOU WOULD LOVE TO WORK AT?

I love all locations as each one is unique but so far DavenPort house has been on the top of the list
