Kim Marshall of Bloom in Gorgeous and Denise from Angels with Dirty Faces Photography worked together to create a stunning shoot with oozes luxury, with an edgy twist!
THE INSPIRATION
With romance and opulence providing the inspiration for the styled shoot, Kim knew she wanted it to scream luxury, whilst keeping an edgy vampy vibe throughout. Brocket Hall at Auberge du Lac in Hertfordshire turned out to be the perfect place to achieve Kim’s goals.

THE COLOUR PALETTE AND FLORALS
With an emphasis on Autumn months, the colour palette consisted of warm, strong and deep colours, with a touch of gold throughout the florals. The beautiful flower moon gate was decorated with thistles, berries and red roses, giving a luxuriously decadent visual aspect to the shoot. This also doubled up as a stunning modern backdrop for the photographs.
The Venue
Brocket Hall in Auberge Du Lac sits overlooking a picturesque lake, making it a venue that should be on your radar. There is no shortage of beautiful photographer locations at this former hunting lodge and 543 acres of estate. The beautiful huge windows allow beautiful pockets of light, along with intimate old doors, gardens and steps.

The bride
The extremely talented Charlotte from Charlotte George make up worked her magic on this styled shoot with both the hair and makeup of our bride.
She said “I wanted to go for a twist on a classic bridal make up. So I made the eyes slightly more dramatic using champagne and bronze tones. Consequently, adding black liner on the top and a brown liner helps to bring out our model’s blue eyes. For her hair, I wanted a textured updo. One in which we could incorporate some flowers. Subsequently, we could then take down later for a soft tousled look.”
The Styling
Opulance was the key word throughout the styling of this shoot, from the table settings to the stationery, each of the suppliers visualised the brief perfectly.
