This vintage inspired styled shoot looks to incorporate ombre in a simple, beautiful way.

The Inspiration

Fabulous Functions UK, Barefoot Photography, and a host of talented suppliers got together to plan and style this stunning wedding shoot. The plan was to inspire couples to be more daring, by creating a luxurious and opulent decor that you can adapt to most venues. The Bear Hotel in Hungerford provided the perfect backdrop for this styled shoot.

The Colour Scheme

To create this stunning ombre look, the colour scheme ranged from rich burgandies, to coppers and golds, to blush pinks and cream. The overall look was both bold and vibrant, and soft and delicate, perfect for most wedding themes.

The bride truly steals the show in the wedding shoot with the dress exuding luxury with its textured layers. Topped off with a pair of heels which scream opulence, the bridal look is then reflected in the bridesmaid clothing.

The floral burgandies were then used for inspiration with the grooms look, his tie pefectly matching his buttonhole, and the bridal bouquet.

The Flowers

The flowers were designed by the wonderful Louise of Wendy House Flowers who often encourages her brides to be brave with their choices, which reflected in the flowers chosen. Louise used a mixture of grasses, clematis, wildflowers, roses and more to create layers of colours and textures.

A flower cloud was the statement piece of the shoot. Creating a beautiful golden halo above the happy couple, it was created with a mixture of golden branches, cream roses and more!

The Styling

The styling complements all the elements of this shoot, from the marriage of fresh and silk florals for the beauitful centrepieces, to the flower wall. There are no details too small when it comes to the table styling, with each individual item picked to match the opulent venue. Agate slices, golden glass boxes and gold-accented glassware were all chosen with luxury in mind.

The cake

Fays Fairy Cakes provided delicate wedding cupcakes, displayed as a large multitiered wedding cake. This is a wonderful choice for your guests, and fun to photograph!
