If you saw our 2021 wedding trends post, you will know that elopements are still high on everyone’s radar, along with outdoor weddings. With an emphasis on nature Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co and photographer, Gareth Jones put together this stunning shoot which shows less can indeed be more!

The inspiration
This woodland wedding has an intimate boho feel, built around the idea of 15 or fewer guests. This economical wedding inspiration is perfect for those couples that want to celebrate their love and don’t mind skipping the party!

The Flowers
The florals for this shoot were put together with natural, wild shades and textures, with trailing foliage. The large bouquet makes a statement, while the styling florals looked to enhance the nature of the woods.

The Bride
Dressed in a simple, yet stunning dress, the model looked every inch a boho bride. With a natural make-up look and a simple textured fishtail braid, this is a beautiful low effort look for your wedding day.

The Styling
The table styling was simply created by setting up a picnic on a wooden pallet, with candles, florals and plates adding a touch of luxury. The overall vibe of the shoot’s styling was eco-friendly, with an elegant sheen.
The Cakes
Cupcakes are a great option for weddings with smaller guest lists. By choosing cupcakes you don’t have to limit yourself to just one style or flavour as shown with these delicious looking cakes from Kellys Kitchen.

Stationery
Echoing the shades of the woodland, the stationery was laid back and rustic in its visual approach.
