Let’s start by telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do?
Queen and Eden offers floral design and styling, my style is romantic and elegant, I love an understated dreamy setting. I also offer hand dyed textiles with an Etsy shop coming soon! I’m based in Hertfordshire and have recently rebranded to incoporate floral design into my work.

The name Queen and Eden was inspired by my youngest daughter as she always says that she is the queen, never a princess, only ever a queen. I believe that every bride should absolutely feel like a queen on her day.

Why did you go into the wedding industry?
I have had a long career in visual merchandising, I was able to transfer those skills into my styling business after planning my own wedding. I have more recently added floral design to my business after training with Kerry at the Hertfordshire Flower School who I thank for her floral and business coaching.

What makes your wedding business unique?
Queen and Eden offers floral design and styling together, bringing all the beautiful elements together for a romantic room setting. I always felt the most beautiful part of venue styling are the flowers, as once added to the table it’s just stunning! I want to create this for my couples!
When you add hand dyed linens and candlelight, you create a dreamy setting. I work from colour palettes, tying in all aspects of your wedding.

What is the most memorable moment from the weddings you have been at?
I love seeing the faces of the friends or family as they have a sneak peek of the room!

What is your top wedding tip for any couple getting married?
Bring your personality into your day. Make your choices unique to you, rather than having what every wedding has. Be sure to chat to your venue stylist for ideas on how to achieve this.

Floral design starts from £500 and a simple day set up starts from £350.
