Couples looking to get married in the past year or so haven’t had it easy. Many have had to cancel or postpone their big days. In fact, 71% of weddings have had to be rescheduled because of COVID-19, according to one survey. The results also suggest that many of these rearranged weddings will be smaller.

When it comes to you hen weekend, it can be difficult to decide what activities to pick. With so many options to choose from and so many people to please it can get complicated. As hen weekends go, I don't think you can go wrong with an afternoon tea. Afternoon tea allows you to bring all generations together for an afternoon of elegance and sophistication... before you head out to party later in the evening.
I recently had the pleasure of being invited to the recently revamped Farmhouse at Redcoats alongside a group of hens, to try out their afternoon tea for myself.
When it comes to perfume... I am certainly no expert. After school I graduated from Impulse body spray to the very sweet smelling Vera Wang Princess.... mainly because I liked the name! These days I wear Hugo Boss Femme... but only because I liked how it smelt in the airport on my way home from a holiday in France. Perfume has never been that important to me, so when I was invited to take part in a Fragrance making hen party experience last month, I wasn't too sure what to expect.
Last month I was invited to the newly refurbished Cromwell Hotel in Stevenage to sample their afternoon tea.
The Cromwell Hotel is situated in the heart of Stevenage Old Town and with great tranport links and plenty of parking spaces in the hotel car park it was easily accessible. As we arrived we were shown through to the beautifully decorated Bourchier suite - and were seated at a table overlooking the high street.
