The Inspiration

With the uncertainty of weddings across 2020, many suppliers filled their unplanned free time by channelling their creativity into styled shoots to provide couples with some beautiful wedding day inspiration. Not only did this help keep spirits high, but it meant suppliers had to think outside the box, taking on roles they wouldn’t normally to keep the numbers involved on the shoots to a minimum. Despite starting off as a stormy day, everyone’s positivity paid off with the shoot taking place under a stunning sun and sunset.

The colour scheme

The colour scheme of the day was a palette was light pink, mixed with the light blue to reflect the sea vibe of the Botany Bay location. Flowing the colours through the table styling items, florals and the dress, this shoot is a pastel dream for anyone planning their wedding day, right down to the light blue ring box with a light blue birthstone ring provided by Beth.

The Styling

Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co stepped into multiple roles to bring this shoot to life alongside the small team of suppliers. The table styling was a relaxed vibe with a picnic inspiration. In fact, by asking everyone to bring their own picnic basket you could host a perfect socially distanced reception, ideal for reflecting a golden sands elopement.

Victoria and Laura worked their magic with their signature light and airy images, which reflected the beach inspiration perfectly.

the Stationery

Olive and Millicent created the most stunning wedding love letters for this styled shoot. These work as a wonderful alternative to a full set of stationery which may not be necessary with an elopement. These worked beautifully with the styled table setting on the beach.

The Bride

The bride on this styled shoot truly embodied the relaxed vibes of this styled shoot, with a natural hair and makeup look. This chilled bridal look was topped with a boho-inspired dress that matched the sea with a hint of light blue.
