If your four-legged friend is an important part of your life as a couple/family, you may be looking for a way to incorporate them in your big day. To help you work out the best way to include them on your wedding day, we accumulated six easy ways for you to allow your dog (or other much-loved pet) to be involved.

The wedding party
The most obvious way to include your furry friend is to incorporate them into your wedding party, either as the best dog, flower dog, or ring bearer. You can have a lot of fun with this if it works with your dog’s personality, even having them wear an outfit for the day. If this is the route you decide to go down, you must look for a venue that can accommodate this, as well as warn all your suppliers to make sure everything is dog friendly on your wedding day!
Just visiting
If having your best fur friend attending your wedding all day is out of the question, perhaps you could have a family member or pet sitter bring them to the ceremony or reception for a short period. This gives you the best of both worlds as you can celebrate with your four-legged buddy whilst being able to enjoy your day without worrying about them.

Stationery and table numbers
If you can’t have your pet physically at your wedding, you can incorporate them into the design of your stationery. From save the dates to invites to your on the day stationery. You can be as subtle or obvious as you want when channelling your furry friend! Want to have more of them on your day? Make use of those hundreds of cute photos you have and use them as table numbers.
Cake
Another place you can allow the design to be influenced by your pet is your wedding cake. Ask your cake designer to create a mini version of Fido for the top of your cake, or even go all out with a pawprint decoration or bone-shaped cookies!

Favours
Your favours are an easy and fantastic place to consider your pet. Instead of buying every guest a favour/gift, why not make a donation in their name to your favourite pet charity? You could even request donations be made instead of wedding presents if you don’t need any gifts.
Paws for decor
The ultimate way to consider your pet is to go all out with a pet theme in your decor. Decorate your venue with photos, include them in your centrepieces or name your tables after your pets rather than numbers. From napkins to your guest book, there is no limit to where you could include your best furry friend.
